About the Award:

The annual SAP Awards of Excellence celebrate the success of SAP's customers and partners. The award for "Best Business Intelligence with a Channel Partner" was awarded to Clifford Hallam Healthcare (CH2) and Avantis, based on the "CH2 Gateway" project, which provides SAP BusinessObjects content, scheduling and ad-hoc analysis to CH2's suppliers through a customer .NET portal.

The awards were judged by an independent panel using a three-phase evaluation process. Finalists were decided based on criteria including; the customer's effective use of resources; their relationship with the implementation partner and SAP; their ability to understand and adapt to changing market conditions; and the achievement of set business objectives.

The award was presented at a lunch held at the Sydney Opera House on August 30, 2011.

About the Solution

Avantis worked with CH2 to develop a solution that would allow them to deploy standard reports to their suppliers, using all of the power and flexibility of the SAP BusinessObjects platform, with a custom front-end tailored to their unique requirements.

In addition, the Avantis team also worked to integrate ad-hoc analysis directly into the application, providing the first and only direct integration in Australia. Users can click to launch the ad-hoc reporting tool and have instant access to create and save their own ad-hoc reports.

"It was their vision for the portal that we were able to deliver on. Over the past 5 years, CH2 has proven time and time again that Business Intelligence can add significant value to their business. "
